1. Who we are
Words for God is the name of this independent prayer and Scripture service, operated from the United Kingdom. For privacy questions or requests, email privacy@wordsforgod.xyz.
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to wordsforgod.xyz, its prayer and Scripture tools, optional AI study assistance, offline audio features, and any TikTok connection or posting feature that is made available through the service. Third-party websites and platforms have their own policies.
3. Information we process

Do not put information into prayers or AI prompts that you would not want processed for the selected feature. In particular, avoid unnecessary medical records, financial account details, passwords, government identifiers or another person's confidential information.
4. How we use information
- Provide prayer, Scripture, reading, audio, export and accessibility features.
- Return AI-assisted study or prayer suggestions when you request them.
- Protect the service, enforce rate limits and diagnose failures.
- Connect a TikTok account and transmit a user-selected video only after explicit authorisation and final posting consent.
- Meet legal obligations and respond to valid rights requests.
We do not sell personal information, use prayer content for behavioural advertising, or request access to TikTok contacts, private messages or unrelated account data.
5. TikTok integration
If the TikTok feature is offered, it will use TikTok's authorisation screen. The requested permissions will be shown before you decide. The intended minimum permissions are basic account identification and permission to publish the video you select. Granting access does not publish anything by itself.
- The app must show the connected TikTok account and a preview of the selected video.
- You choose or edit the caption, privacy, comment, Duet, Stitch, commercial-content and AI-content settings supported by TikTok.
- Nothing is sent until you confirm the posting declaration and press the final publish control.
- You may disconnect through TikTok or the Words for God connection controls when available.
- Following disconnection, stored TikTok tokens are deleted as soon as operationally possible and normally within 30 days, unless retention is legally required. Limited security or publish-status records may be retained for up to 90 days.
TikTok separately processes information under its own policies. Words for God is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok.
6. Service providers and external sources
- MiniMax: processes AI prompts and returns generated responses. Its current API privacy policy states that data may be stored in the United States. See the MiniMax API Privacy Policy.
- Scripture providers: API.Bible and public Scripture/audio hosts may process passage queries or normal request metadata when their material is requested.
- TikTok: processes authorisation, account information and content posting when you choose to connect and post.
- Infrastructure providers: hosting, DNS and security services process the technical data needed to deliver the website.
These providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, provider terms or your explicit request to use the feature.
7. Local storage, cookies and retention
The core app uses browser local storage, session storage, Cache Storage and a service worker to remember your choices and provide offline features. These technologies are necessary for features you request; they are not third-party advertising trackers.
- Local prayer and app data remains until you delete it, clear browser data or use the app's “Delete all local data” control.
- Offline audio remains until you remove a chapter, clear the audio cache or clear browser data.
- AI requests are held by Words for God only for the live request and short security rate limit. MiniMax's own retention terms also apply.
- TikTok connection data follows the retention described in section 5.
8. Legal bases
Where UK data-protection law applies, we process information to provide features you request, for legitimate interests in securing and maintaining the service, with consent where a feature requires it, and to comply with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent for optional processing at any time, although the related feature will then stop working.
9. Your choices and rights
- Export or delete local app data from Privacy and settings.
- Delete individual AI conversations from the AI panel.
- Disable or clear offline audio.
- Do not use optional AI or TikTok features.
- Revoke TikTok access from TikTok's connected-app settings and request deletion from us.
- Ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability where the law provides those rights.

10. Security
We use HTTPS, server-side API credentials, origin restrictions, request limits and data minimisation. No internet service is completely secure, so please use care when entering sensitive reflections and protect access to your device.
11. Children
The online AI and connected-platform features are not intended for children under 16. TikTok features also require the user to meet TikTok's own age and account requirements. If you believe a child has provided personal information through an online feature, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when features, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will identify the current version. Material changes will be highlighted in the service where reasonably practical.
